Premier League Game Week 22 Predictions and Tips

There are some Premier League crackers when it comes to Game Week 22. With the North London derby set to be an intriguing encounter on Sunday. Meanwhile, Manchester City go up against Chelsea in a Saturday lunchtime clash which is significant in terms of the title race. We have predictions all ten weekend matches and you can find out what we’re backing for the clashes.

FRIDAY 14TH JANUARY

Brighton & Hove Albion 20:00 Crystal Palace

The past six Palace matches have all featured three or more goals. With Patrick Vieira’s side having come from behind to win at Millwall in the FA Cup. They head south for a needle Premier League clash against a Brighton side who have returned to the winners enclosure on a couple of times recently. Their 3-2 win at Goodison Park was impressive and we’re expecting the net to bulge on plenty of occasions here.

SATURDAY 15TH JANUARY

Manchester City 12:30 Chelsea

Maybe this would be a better pick for an accumulator than a single. Although there is nothing wrong with backing the home win here. Chelsea FC are without Edouard Mendy, Reece James and Ben Chilwell, with the trio having played stand-out roles earlier in the season. Having clashed with Tottenham in the EFL Cup as recently as Wednesday, they might struggle to lay a glove on a City team who have been imperious in recent months.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Manchester City to win

Burnley 15:00 Leicester City

Leicester above evens would represent a good bet to us and the fact that you can get 6/4 screams value. They will clash with a Burnley side who don’t look good enough this season and they have just lost Chris Wood to Newcastle. James Maddison is in excellent form for a Foxes team who recently beat Liverpool and should prove too strong for the Clarets.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Leicester to win

Newcastle United 15:00 Watford

Watford are on a losing run of seven games and this might continue at St James’ Park. Claudio Ranieri’s side were humbled 4-1 by Leicester in the FA Cup. A leaky defence might be exposed by a Newcastle side who will hope to have Kieran Trippier and Chris Wood on the pitch. Despite an FA Cup defeat against Cambridge, there have been some positive performances under Eddie Howe. Why not take a look at the WhatAcca.com Premier League Accumulator betting guide to learn more about football bets.

Norwich City 15:00 Everton

We don’t want to kick a team when they’re down although Norwich City FC are staring into the abyss. And they have lost thirteen of their nineteen games played. Despite a couple of encouraging performances under Dean Smith, the Canaries have reverted to type in recent weeks and City have only scored five goals at home. Everton don’t inspire confidence but they should have enough quality to get the job done here.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Everton to win

Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 Southampton

Southampton enjoyed a fantastic 4-1 win over Brentford during the week. Although they are likely to find Wolves a much tougher nut to crack. Wanderers’ defensive record has been excellent this term, with fourteen goals conceded in nineteen games although they are missing the AFCON-bound Roman Saiss. We still think this will be a tight encounter.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals

Aston Villa 17:30 Manchester United

Lucas Digne and Philippe Coutinho might both make their debuts at Villa Park on Saturday teatime. With Steven Gerrard’s side focused on revenge after that unfortunate 1-0 FA Cup defeat at Old Trafford. The Manchester United poor performances continue to come and we think it’s worth getting with the home side in a bid to treble your money as they trade at 2/1.

SUNDAY 16TH JANUARY

Liverpool 14:00 Brentford

Brentford shipping four goals at St Mary’s on Tuesday night was far from the ideal warm-up ahead of a clash at Anfield. With the Bees looking defensively porous against Southampton FC. At least they won’t have to face Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane who are both on AFCON duty, although Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino can still ensure that the home side are ahead at half-time and full-time.

West Ham United 14:00 Leeds United

West Ham beat a youthful Leeds team last weekend in the FA Cup and we’re expecting the same outcome when the sides meet at the London Stadium. David Moyes is without Said Benrahma although there is still plenty of attacking venom in the team, with Jarrod Bowen close to an England call-up and Manuel Lanzini has come back into the fold.

Premier League Betting Tip IconBEST BET: West Ham to win

Tottenham Hotspur 16:30 Arsenal

We’re leaning towards Arsenal although their Thursday EFL Cup date with Liverpool puts us off. They are also without Thomas Partey and home advantage for this North London derby clash. Tottenham are missing Son Heung-Min and haven’t looked altogether convincing under Antonio Conte, with the best bet potentially being both teams to score rather than siding with either side here.

Hopefully we will bank lots of winners in Game Week 22 with the above predictions. There is the option to place the Premier League bets as singles or alternatively have a Premier League accumulator bet.
