Mansfield Town began the season brightly before hitting a slump although there was plenty to like about a defensive display at Leyton Orient last week. The goalless draw saw the Stags press the reset button and we’re expecting another tight display against Barrow. The visitors are tenth in the table and have also been running a tight ship defensively. Oldham Athletic 15:00 Harrogate Town

One swallow doesn’t make a summer. Therefore, we shouldn’t read too much into Oldham’s 1-0 win at Rochdale. We think Harrogate can win at Boundary Park and they have already won twice on the road this term. Simon Weaver’s side have triumphed at Leyton Orient and Mansfield, so this trip shouldn’t be daunting against the bottom club.

Both teams are in excellent form and riding high in the EFL League Two table. Port Vale have won their past three encounters and they’re running a tight ship defensively. Similarly, Orient are in good nick under Kenny Jackett and have won four of their past six. The other two have been draws so we’re expecting a tight clash.

Tranmere Rovers 15:00 Crawley Town

Tranmere Rovers are on an upward curve. They overcame Salford and then drew at Forest Green, with this fixture looking highly winnable. The Wirral side have won three of their four home clashes, with Crawley having lost three of four on the road. Expect Elliott Nevitt to get among the goals and that home defence to stand firm.
