Best Bets for League Two This Weekend There are two southern teams leading the way at the top of League Two. Leyton Orient are continuing where they left off under Richie Wellens last season. While Stevenage are looking like promotion contenders with Steve Evans at the helm. We look at the Saturday coupon for this division and pick out some of our best bets. Saturday football tips can always be found at WhatAcca. It's what we do! SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST Wimbledon 15:00 Barrow Wimbledon are back in the fourth tier and they’ve had two wins which have book-ended four games without a victory. Having won at Crawley last weekend, they will have a spring in their step against a Barrow side who lost to Lincoln on penalties during the week. However, Pete Wild’s side are one of the early pace-setters in the division and they should be good for a goal or two here. Check out the latest Premier League Fixtures today. BEST BET: BTTS Yes Bradford 15:00 Crewe We firmly believe that Bradford will be in the League Two promotion shake-up and the Bantams can overcome Crewe on Saturday. Mark Hughes saw his team beat Newport and Hartlepool either side of losing at Colchester, with Andy Cook firing in goals. Crewe have made a fairly strong start to their season but are expected to fall short here. BEST BET: Bradford to win Salford City 15:00 Stevenage Stevenage are not exactly the surprise package of League Two considering that Steve Evans tends to get a tune out of teams at this level. It’s been an unbeaten start for the visiting team who will have no qualms about playing their long-ball football against a Salford side with promotion ambitions of their own. The home side are two from two at home this season but they might hit the buffers here. BEST BET: Stevenage or Draw Stockport 15:00 Swindon Town Both teams have experienced a sluggish start to their football season. Stockport have just one win to show for their five games played and making them pre-season favourites was an oversight from the bookies. Swindon are struggling post Ben Garner although they might be capable of nicking a draw at Edgeley Park after previously doing this at Carlisle. BEST BET: Draw Tranmere 15:00 Colchester Tranmere are not good value at odds-on considering their only win of the season was a 3-0 triumph over Gillingham. Aside from that, it has been one draw and three defeats for the Wirral club who are struggling to improve in this division. As for Colchester, they have lost twice on the road although Wayne Brown’s team were only narrowly beaten at Northampton and Stockport. BEST BET: Draw Walsall 15:00 Grimsby Town We’re expecting the Saddlers to be too streetwise for Grimsby when the sides clash on Saturday. Michael Flynn’s side have eight points from five games and they enjoyed a crushing 4-0 win over Harrogate in their first home clash before a 1-1 draw against in-form Stevenage. The Mariners are struggling for goals and one might be enough for the home side here. BEST BET: Walsall to win The League Two table is starting to take shape, with three teams automatically promoted from the division. The majority of teams will have aspirations to make the top seven places and at least get into the play-offs.
