Ipswich, Portsmouth and Plymouth are the teams who are leading the way in League One and it’s not too big a surprise to see any of them challenging. The latter two are in action against each other at Fratton Park and we should see a big crowd enjoy an entertaining affair. Meanwhile, Town have a tough trip to Hillsborough. Bristol Rovers 15:00 Lincoln City Lincoln look to be in decent shape in League One this season. Although they sit in a lowly sixteenth place, a 2-0 win over Derby during the week was their best performance of the season and on-loan forward Jack Diamond gives them a new dimension here. Bristol Rovers suffered a 2-0 defeat at Ipswich in the week and their winless run is now six games in all competitions. BEST BET: Lincoln to win Derby County 15:00 Wycombe Derby have solid home form in League One, winning three of their four games at Pride Park. However, they were chinned against Plymouth last time out and we expect them to both score and concede against an experienced Wycombe side. Gareth Ainsworth’s side have seen twelve games scored in their four away clashes this season. BEST BET: BTTS Yes Exeter City 15:00 Burton Albion We will continue to oppose a Burton side who are already looking like relegation fodder. The Brewers are seven points adrift of safety, with the Staffordshire side making the long trip to Devon to face an Exeter side who are in much better shape. The Grecians have won three of their four matches at St James’ Park and can be relied upon to get the job done here. BEST BET: Exeter to win Port Vale 15:00 Shrewsbury Town The Shrews can’t be tamed on the road where they have picked up two wins and two draws so far. They make the short journey to Vale Park to face a newly-promoted side who are modestly trundling along in seventeenth spot. The atmosphere should be bouncing for this clash and we can see both sides hitting the net. BEST BET: BTTS Yes Portsmouth 15:00 Plymouth Argyle It seems a no brainer to go for Over 2.5 Goals in a clash between two south coast teams. Both are really high-scoring this season and it wouldn’t be a big surprise if this was a 3-2 victory in favour of Pompey. We are simply happy to go for a high goal count and wouldn’t even be surprised if Over 3.5 Goals came in here. BEST BET: Over 2.5 Goals Sheffield Wed 15:00 Ipswich Town It’s fourth versus first at Hillsborough and the visitors are boasting a 100% away record this season after achieving four wins. Eight goals scored and just one conceded is impressive, with Kieran McKenna’s side looking like genuine automatic contenders. However, Wednesday could be a tough nut to crack and they claimed a 3-0 win at Morecambe in the week. BEST BET: Draw There are the League One predictions for some of the main games this weekend.
