We’re fast approaching Game Week 12 in the 2021-22 Premier League season, with lots of exciting match-ups on the horizon. Steven Gerrard makes his bow as Aston Villa manager, while Eddie Howe does the same with Newcastle and Dean Smith has swiftly returned to top-flight management with Norwich City. The team at WhatAcca.com have made predictions for each game this weekend. SATURDAY 20TH NOVEMBER Leicester City 12:30 Chelsea Chelsea are going great guns this season although there are reasons to oppose them at the King Power Stadium. They have an important Champions League clash against Juventus a few days later and there’s the disruption caused by players returning from international duty. Leicester might not have hit the notes this season but they are capable of securing at least a point. BEST BET: Leicester or Draw Aston Villa 15:00 Brighton & Hove Albion We’re leaning towards a low-scoring clash at Villa Park, with Steven Gerrard looking for his team to stop the losing run with immediate effect. That means addressing the defensive issues that have been plaguing the team. Brighton are not a team full of goals and we’ll expect them to keep things tight against unpredictable opponents. BEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals Burnley 15:00 Crystal Palace Burnley are not always a good team to bet on from a scoring point-of-view, although the Clarets bagged three against Brentford in their last clash at Turf Moor. They also found the net at Stamford Bridge, with Crystal Palace also in a scoring mood and they recorded 2-0 wins over Manchester City and Wolverhampton Wanderers. BEST BET: BTTS Yes Newcastle United 15:00 Brentford It might seem a little far-fetched to back a team without a win this season although Eddie Howe looks sure to give Newcastle a new lease of life. The former Bournemouth manager has had an opportunity to work with the majority of his squad over the international break and that includes the lively Callum Wilson. The Brentford team and club have dipped in recent weeks and could be there for the taking. BEST BET: Newcastle to win Norwich City 15:00 Southampton Dean Smith will want his Norwich side to start recording wins as quickly as possible, although the first port of call will be to start making the team harder to beat. They will clash with a Southampton team who won their last two games 1-0. Salisu and Bednarek look strong in central defence. We’re therefore expecting two goals or less to be scored. Why not learn why your bets are losing with our Accumulator guide tips. BEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals Watford 15:00 Manchester United Ole Gunnar Solskjaer continues to do badly and stay in a job. However, even a blind pig can sniff out a truffle and we’re expecting a United win here. Ultimately, their squad is supremely more talented than Watford. The Hornets have failed to score in four of their past five games. So we’ll back the Red Devils to triumph without conceding a goal. BEST BET: Manchester United + BTTS No Wolverhampton Wanderers 15:00 West Ham United West Ham United sit third in the table and that is a position achieved on merit. The Hammers overcame Liverpool in their last match and could prove too strong for Wolves. David Moyes’ side look strong in all departments, especially in the air on set pieces. Wanderers lost 2-0 at Crystal Palace last time and look short of goals. BEST BET: West Ham to win Liverpool 17:30 Arsenal Jurgen Klopp is sure to curse the international break and there are several players missing for this high-profile clash at Anfield. We think that Liverpool can be opposed at the prices and Arsenal are enjoyed an excellent unbeaten run. The spine of the team is starting to take shape and the Gunners could be worth a shout with a +1 start on the handicap. BEST BET:Arsenal +1 SUNDAY 21ST NOVEMBER Manchester City 14:00 Everton Manchester City should be able to overcome Everton without conceding. Pep Guardiola’s side looked slick when winning at Old Trafford and they rarely gave United a sniff. Rafael Benitez will want damage limitation and it’s hard to see how the Toffees can get anything from a clash such as this one. Learn more about other games Man City will be playing this season with the WhatAcca.com Champions League Bets advice page. BEST BET: Man City + BTTS No Tottenham Hotspur 16:30 Leeds United Tottenham are the most likely winners although they’re trading at a short price to win this clash. Spurs will surely get on the front foot, although Leeds have scored in the majority of their games and the visitors can find the net again. Go for the BTTS Yes option and let’s hope both sides can get on the scoresheet nice and early.
