With week 2 upon us, here is the WhatAcca.com League Two GW2, a.k.a Game Week 2 Preview. This week is set to be more exciting than last week, with teams pushing themselves harder to achieve the valuable 3 points. The WhatAccca team have put together a comprehensive list of what scores and predictions we have calculated for all of the teams playing. Take a look and feel free to use any of our betting tips for your wagers this weekend. SATURDAY 14TH AUGUST League Two GW2 Bradford City 15:00 Oldham Athletic Bradford earned a goalless draw at Exeter last weekend and the Bantams can follow this up with a victory against an Oldham side who were beaten at home to Newport in their opener. Derek Adams has a new-look squad that includes trusted lieutenant Yannick Songo’o, with Andy Cook likely to get on the end of chances that come his way and we can’t pass up the chance to back them. BEST BET: Bradford to win Bristol Rovers 15:00 Stevenage Joey Barton saw his Bristol Rovers side lose at the death against Mansfield and they might find life tough going when clashing with a Stevenage side who are defensively robust. The Boro managed to sneak a 1-0 win over Barrow last weekend and they are more than capable of keeping things tight and potentially earning a point. BEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals Mansfield Town 15:00 Newport County Nigel Clough saw his Stags team land a last-gasp winner against Bristol Rovers and that result is likely to breed confidence as the Midlands side clash with a team who lost in the League Two play-off final last season. The Exiles are among the stronger teams in the division although they might come a cropper against a side for whom Danny Johnson looks dangerous. BEST BET: Mansfield to win Port Vale 15:00 Tranmere Rovers Darrell Clarke made the switch to Vale Park from Walsall last season and Port Vale enjoyed a hot streak, although the Staffordshire side were beaten 1-0 at Northampton in their opener and they’ll clash with a defensively strong Tranmere team. Micky Mellon is back at the wheel at Prenton Park, with the Scot setting about building a strong side at the back and we can see chances being at a premium after they edged Walsall by a single goal. Why not place a bet on the Port Vale game today, check out our Paddy Power Account promotions page for more information. BEST BET: Under 2.5 Goals Salford City 15:00 Sutton United Salford are hot favourites to win this EFL League Two clash although they could only manage a 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient last weekend, with the Ammies now clashing with a Sutton team who came narrowly close to landing a draw at promotion-chasing Forest Green and then played really well against Cardiff in the EFL Cup. Perhaps they can earn their first Football League point since landing promotion. BEST BET: Draw Swindon Town 15:00 Carlisle United Carlisle created enough chances to record a handsome win over Colchester at Brunton Park and we’re expecting Chris Beech’s side to convert some of the chances at the County Ground, with the Blues having been one of the better League Two sides for much of the season. Swindon opened with a 3-1 win at Scunthorpe although they have experienced financial difficulties this term and they could be overpowered here. BEST BET: Carlisle to win Walsall 15:00 Forest Green Rovers Matt Taylor is a rookie manager in League Two and he saw his team lack a cutting edge at Prenton Park in Walsall’s opener, with the Saddlers now clashing with a lively Forest Green team and we think the visitors can score a victory in the Midlands. Rovers beat Sutton in their first match and perhaps Jamille Matt will prove to be the difference here. BEST BET: Forest Green to win Why not also take a look at our EFL League 1 GW2 preview report or our EFL Championship GW2 preview for alternative betting tips.
